FAQ

Residency questions

What visa do I need for a Yellow House Book?

Generally a long-stay visa such as a retirement, marriage or other non-immigrant visa, We check your eligibility for free. Need a visa first? See our retirement visa page.

Do I need the Yellow Book before the Pink ID Card?

Yes. The Yellow House Book comes first — that's why we offer both together as one package.

What happens if I miss my 90-day report?

Late reporting carries a fine of ฿2,000, and repeated issues may cause problems with future extensions. We track your deadlines and remind you in advance.

What is TM.30?

TM.30 is the notification your landlord or hotel must file when a foreigner stays at their property. Immigration often asks for it at extensions and 90-day reports. We can check that yours has been filed.

Can I convert my licence without retaking the tests?

For many nationalities, yes. It depends on your nationality and licence type — tell us yours and we'll confirm.

Do I need to go to the offices myself?

A few steps need you in person, but we prepare everything beforehand and come with you, so each visit is quick.
